 Week of May 21 - May 28
The fishing this week has been really consistent. The week started off with a strong king mackeral bite on the reef. We pretty much limited out on each trip this week. The bonito have also been really active with a few cero mackeral mixed in.
When the wind pattern changed over the weekend, and the winds started more easterly, the sailfish bite was on and there were a few dolphin around.
This week was also very productive for wahoo. We had one over 35lbs and a few others that were between 15-20lbs.
There has been a really nice mix of fish right now. We have been catching nice barracudas, the wrecks have been holding some nice golden amberjacks and there have still been a few sharks around.
With the change in winds, we are hoping that the dolphin will start showing up in strong numbers.
This is a great time to get out there, the weather is beautiful and the fishing has been producing quite a bit of rod bending action.
There are a few openings left this week, Call Capt. Mark at (954) 728-9880.
Tight lines and great fishing
