Fishing Report for the week of July 8th, 2009
The fishing action has been great all week.
We have been limiting out on king mackeral almost every trip.
The bonitos have been in great abundance and are great fight. There have been a few blackfin tunas mixed in with the bonitos.
We have been catching quite a few large barracudas.
When the currents have been right, we have been able to get out and do some deep drops and have been catching lots of rosies and a few golden tile fish.
The dolphin action has been really slow due to the west winds we have been having for quite awhile, but with the wind patterns changing to more easterly, the dolphin action should pick up.
There have been a few sailfish around and a few sharks.
Now is a great time of year for lots of action.
