What a beautiful day - contrary to what our weather man has been saying, the seas were only about 1-2ft today. Just like everywhere else, the weather man does not have a clue.
We had John and Margaret from Toronto and Mike and Nicki from Boston out with us this afternoon.
We headed out to the reef to catch some dinner for everyone and ended up limiting out on king mackeral and caught a few decent dolphin.
We had two sailfish come up into the spread, shopping, but never did get a hook into either of them.
This cold snap that we have had has really increased the sailfish presence. The boats that have been targeting them have been successful at catching them. Our weather is perfect and the fishing is Fanntastic - now is a great time to get out there - also, we have our holiday special going on - Contact Capt. Mark at (954) 728-9880.

This morning we were part of a 4 boat charter with the Billistic, Foxsea and Reel Blues.
We ended up with a nice variety of fish, we had king mackeral, dolphin, bonitos and blackfin tuna - the guys were really excited about having a great barbque later in the day.
This afternoon we had Kieth and the guys from the power plant out with us. Once again, it was another great afternoon. The guys had a limit of king mackeral and a few dolphin.

This morning we had Michele and Alex from Holland out with us. What a Fanntastic Day we had. It didn't take too long to limit out on king mackeral, so we headed offshore and managed to catch a few nice schoolie dolphin and a few blackfin tuna - not a bad day at all.

Today we had Taylor and Kelly from CT out with us. We started out trolling over the reef and caught a few king mackeral and bonitos. We then headed offshore a bit and caught these two nice barracudas, blackfin tuna and dolphin.
We then set out for a sailfish for Taylor, but unfortunately he did not show himself before it was time to head in.
Fishing has been really productive the past week - dolphin, sailfish, blackfin tuna - This weekend should be great!
We still have some of our specials going on - contact Capt. Mark at (954) 728-9880 to get your shot at one of these great creatures.

Everywhere we looked today, someone was hooked up with a sailfish. It seems they are finally here. There have also been some really nice dolphin around too.
Now is a great time to get out there and try your hand at catching a sail - call Capt. Mark at (954) 728-9880.

This morning we had Wendy, her son, Beau, her brother Chris and their friends Elaine and her son Mike out with us.
Fishing was a bit tough this morning, but we did end up with some really nice king mackeral.
Now that this storm is leaving our area the fishing should pick up and the sailfish action should be picking up as the fall migration should be here at any time.

This morning we had the Flygt family from Sweden out with us. The boys, Jacob and Brent, had a blast. We headed out to the "bait balls" and let the boys catch small snappers, file fish, blue runners and a few small grouper. After about 3 hours at this, we set up the trolling spead to head home and the boys caught a few nice king mackeral.
Now is a perfect time to get out here and do some fishing - Contact Capt. Mark at (954) 728-9880

This morning we had Roland and his buddies out for a fishing bachelor party. The guys had a rough morning - they had a little too much night in their night before.
For the ones who were able to stay awake for some fishing, caught some really nice fish.
The fishing has been consistent lately and a few sailfish are starting to show up. Contact Capt. Mark at (954) 728-9880

This morning we had the boys from Holland out with us.
The fishing started off a little slow this morning but it didn't take too long for us to start having some really nice bites. We ended up with some kings and some dolphin.
Sunday, October 26. 2008
Today we had Jean from Canada, Mike and Audrey.
Once again, we headed straight offshore in search of dolphin. We found a really nice weedline out there today. We ended up catching a few keepers, most of the ones out there today we too small to even keep. Thats fishing though.
The weather should be perfect this week and with this cold snap (for Florida) coming through, the sailfish action should be pretty good this week.

After spending a wonderful time in North Carolina and having a little cooler weather, it was time to get back to work.
Today we had Mike from Virginia out with us. We had heard that the reef had been a bit slow for king mackeral so we headed straight offshore for some dolphin.
It didn't take too long for two of the lines to go off - both blackfin tunas. After another short period, we caught a nice barracuda and then the dollies showed up - what a nice afternoon.
The weather is a little cooler and the fishing has been great - nice schools of dolphin, blackfin tuna, some wahoos and a few sailfish - Contact Capt. Mark at (954) 728-9880 for your chance at catching something really cool.

This afternoon we had Chris and his daughter out with us. We started off trolling over the reef and the king mackeral were very active. After limiting out on kings, we headed out offshore. After trolling around for about an hour, we ended up hooking a small schoolie dolphin. While fighting this dolphin, we had one about 25lbs jump onto one of our other baits. After a few tense moments, he was in the box.
The fishing here has been great this whole week. We are expected to have high winds and seas for the first part of next week, but by Thursaday it is suppose to be beautiful.
We still have our summer specials going on. Contact Capt. Mark at (954) 728-9880

Today we had Bob and the boys out with us. Well, the fishing has been really consistent here lately and today was no different. After the guys missing a bunch of kings, we finally ended up limiting out and headed offshore. Offshore was pretty active today. The guys ended up catching 2 wahoos, barracudas, a few dolphin (30lbs and 35lbs), blackfin tuna and a few skipjacks.
Great job guys!

Today we had Joe and his wife, Trudy, out with us. We started out over the reef and it didn't take too long to limit out on king mackeral. We then headed offshore for some deep drops. The rose fish were quite cooperative today. With only time for three drops, we ended up with 12 rosies - what a great lunch for Joe and Trudy.
The fishing has been Fanntastic here all week and seems each day is a different adventure offshore.
We are still running our summer specials - contact Capt. Mark at (954) 728-9880.
