Today we had Rob and his son, Zachary, from Weston out with us. Zachary was so excited to go fishing, he could hardly wait.
They headed out and started trolling the reef and it didn't take long to have a king mackeral on, then another, then another. They also ended up catching a few bonitos as well. As you can see, it was a real productive morning. They also caught and released two barracudas.
Great job Zachary.

Wow - what a start to a week. This cold snap has really heated up the fishing. In the past two days, there have been numerous sailfish caught, hammerhead sharks, dolphin, wahoo, king mackeral and even some marlin.
This morning, there was a multiple boat convention trip and every boat managed to catch sailfish and there were quite a few king mackeral as well.
This afternoon, the sailfish bite slowed a bit, but the king mackeral and bonitos were still really productive. Frank and the boys had a great afternoon, keeping the rods bent most of the trip.

The fishing here in Ft. Lauderdale has continued to be great!
There are still a few openings left this week - call Capt. Mark at (954) 728-9880. Get out there while the bite is on!

Today we had Steven and his family out with us for an afternoon of fishing off of Ft. Lauderdale. The water was a bit choppy and after catching a few king mackeral, they decided they wanted to go into the intercoastal and do a little cruising.
The water should settle down by mid weekend and be great for next week.
There are still a few openings for next week and it should be a great time to go out and get that sailfish or shark.
