This morning we had David, Julie, David and Debbie for Louisana out with us for yet another Fanntastic day off of Fort Lauderdale.  Capt. Mark started out trolling the reef and the guys caught some nice king mackeral and bonitos and the they headed offshore in search of some dolphin.  They ended up catching some really nice ones and missed a few also.

The dolphin have definetly shown back up here off of Fort Lauderdale and the ones we have caught have been really nice - 15-25 lb range.  Now is still a great time for some great fish and lots of action - Contact Capt. Mark at (954) 728-9880 and lets get you out there.

This morning we had Brian, Jason, Sean, Kara and Erin out with us for some fishing off of the Fort Lauderdale coast.  We are starting to see alot of bait fish and the mullet have started showing up - along with all these bait fish, the dolphin have started moving through.  We ended up catching quite a few nice dolphin this morning.  The gang also ended up with some wahoo, king mackeral and blackfin tuna.  It was a Fanntastic morning.

September is generally a slower month as for customers, but the fishing is incredible this time of year.  We are starting to see the migration of fish from the north and the variety is becoming awesome.  Now is a great time to get out there - the weather is starting to cool off and the fishing action is getting hot!  Contact Capt. This morning we had Anthony Reyes, his dad Tony, his mom, Anna and some of his friends, Alex, Alexander and Spencer out to celebrate Anthony's 9th birthday.  Well, I guess the fish knew it was his birthday because they had quite a few king mackeral come into the boat to say "happy birthday".  They also caught a few bonitos.  The boys all seemed to have a great time and the fish cooperated and keep the boys busy the whole morning - what a way to spend your birthday.

This morning we had Uri and Irenea out for some summertime fishing here in Fort Lauderdale.  The summer pattern held true and they ended up limiting out on king mackeral and also had quite a few bonitos.  Once again, Capt. Mark and the crew of the FANNTASTIC had more fish then the rest of the boats combined.

Capt. Mark and the crew of the FANNTASTIC have had an awesome summer.  They have consistently continued to catch more fish then any of the other boats and have produced some FANNTASTIC catches.  Way to go guys!!

Today we had Jeff and Brian out for some red hot fishing off of Fort Lauderdale.  The guys ended up catching (and missing) quite a few king mackeral and had a good number of bonitos.

This morning we had Craig, Eric, Keith, Barry and Kevin out for a morning of fishing off of Fort Lauderdale.  The weather was absolutely beautiful today.  They started off trolling over the reef for king mackeral and bonitos.  The bonito bite was real strong but the king bite was a little slow.  After catching quite a few bonitos and very few kings, they headed to some of Capt. Mark's deep spots for some snapper.  As you can see, it paid off quite well.  They ended up with quite a dinner.

This afternoon we were lucky enough to be involved with a multiple boat convention trip from the Marlin My Darlin.  The guys got to take a break from meetings and get to go out and try their hand at some fishing.  They ended up catchig some king mackeral and bonitos.  They also had a barracuda about 5' come up and munch on a king they were trying to get to the boat.  The group seemed to have a great time here in Fort Lauderdale and will hopefully take back some great memories of their time here in South Florida.

This morning we had Capt. Dave from the Glassbottom boat out to try to catch them from above the water line.  Dave had some friends in town and they wanted to try their hand at fishing with rod and reel (usually they are with spear guns below the surface).  They caught some really nice king mackeral and bonitos and Capt. Dave wanted to try and catch some dolphin.  Well, they had some shots, five to be exact.  It was nice to see some dolphin starting to show back up.  With us coming into the fall pattern, we should start seeing more and more of them.

Fishing continues to remain real strong with lots of action.  The seas have been a little choppy but nothing that the "Fanntastic" could not handle with ease and provide a nice ride.  The action should continue strong throughout the fall months and we are starting to see the fall migration of bait already.

This morning we had Michael and Randy from Atlanta, Ga out with us.  The guys had spent Saturday out peacock bass fishing with one of our guides and had a great time and caught alot of bass and they were hoping to have as great a day out off the waters of Ft. Lauderdale.  Well, needless to say, they caught 'em.  Once again, Capt. Mark had limited out on king mackeral and the bonitos were again strong and in ample supply.  Mike and Randy had a great taste of both types of fishing here in South Florida.

This morning we had the Stumpf family back with us again.  They had a great morning of catching.  They limited out on king mackeral and caught another load of bonitos.  One of the bonitos weighted about 16-18 lbs and put up a great fight.  They also caught a few barracudas.  One was caught while reeling in a king mackeral - he came up for his free meal.

The kids had a great time and what a time to introduce kids to fishing - there's enough action to keep their interest.

This morning we has Les and the guys from comcast out for a morning of fishing and what a catch.  They limited out on king mackeral within two hours.  They caught quite a few bonitos and also caught a couple of barracudas. 

Not only is the weather still really hot, the fishing action has also remained red hot lately.  If you are looking for lots of rod bending action, now is the time to get out there.
