Well, we have been telling you about the incredible fishing action here in Fort Lauderdale and this afternoon was no exception. We had Jessie, Jose, Bobby and Barry out with us this afternoon and I'm not sure who was the "lucky charm" but they ended up catching some Fanntastic fish.
The ended up catching some king mackeral (they also ended up missing quite a few). They also caught some bonitos and as pictured here, this rather large barracuda. They also caught a really nice mutton snapper on the troll (not a technique generally used for catching snapper). We couldn't have written a script for any better fishing than what we had this afternoon.
This morning we had Jerry and the guys out for yet another Fanntastic day of fishing off of Ft. Lauderdale. The guys ended up limiting out on King Mackeral, caught quite a few bonitos (so many that Pete started throwing them back). They also released a nice barracuda.
Not only is the weather hot here in Fort Lauderdale, so is the fishing action. Capt. Mark and crew had been producing great numbers of fish each and every trip. The fishing action has just been incredible lately. Now is a great time to get out there. Contact Capt. Mark at (954) 728-9880

This morning we had Mark and his wife Michelle. We started off trolling and caught some king mackeral and bonitos and the Mark wanted to catch something "big", so we put out the larger lures and headed offshore. The seas started to get a little choppy and Michelle wasn't feeling well, so we ended up cutting the morning short.

The action with the king mackeral and bonitos is really great and gives the kids a great way to be introduced to fishing - plenty of fish to keep them busy. The crew of the Fanntastic encourage family fishing and think its a great way for the family to spend the day together. You can contact Capt. Mark at (954) 728-9880 and make a reservation for you and your family for a Fanntastic day on the water.
The summer fishing action continues to be red hot. This morning we had the Ma family out and the king mackeral were snapping. They ended up limiting out on kings with the smallest being about 10 lbs and the largest about 20 lls. They also had some bonitos which may not be good to eat, but as for a fight, they are incredible.
