Well, it was once again a FANNTASTIC day of fishing off of Ft Lauderdale.  We had Benjamin, Holly, Ben, Alan and Kathy out with us today. 

We ran into a really nice school of dolphin and when our offical counters (Benjamin and Holly) were done, we ended up with 27 fish.

The weather held out for the trip and everyone got to enjoy a great morning of fishing and family fun time together.

The fishing is still FANNTASTIC here in Ft. Lauderdale, so what are you waiting for?

The crew of FANNTASTIC  really believe in family fishing.  Well today, we had two great families out for a "Fanntastic" day of fishing here in Ft. Lauderdale.  With us today was Alex and Iris, Luke and Tatjana and their 4 year old son Cody.

They got into a school of dolphin that was quite impressive.  When all was said and done, they caught 35 dolphin between 4-25 lbs.  Alex also caught and released his first sailfish (something he said he wanted to do before the trip).

Little Cody had a ball.  He hugged every dolphin that was caught and when they were cleaning the fish, he fed all the scraps to the local pelicans. 

The dolphin fishing still remains very active and we have been catching some really nice ones.  The weather is continuing to improve and the fishing has been pretty hot lately.

We still have a few openings for this week, so let's get out there and catch some fish!

The wind is finally stopping and the seas are getting back to normal. 

The fishing in Ft. Lauderdale has been great lately and now that the seas are calming down, it is a wonderful time to go fishing.

Today we had Joe and his family out to celebrate his birthday.  He ended up with a great birthday present - a 30 lb dolphin.

Today we had the Klass family out for some fishing and fun in Ft. Lauderdale.

The winds were still blowing but we managed to catch some really nice dolphin and kingfish. 

We had a sailfish on for a short time but he managed to escape.

Well, it's still windy here in Ft. Lauderdale, but the seas are starting to settle down a bit. 

This morning we tried doing some bottom fishing, but the weather was not very good for this type of fishing.  We ended up catching some kingfish and bonitos.

This afternoon we had some dolphin and kingfish.

Today we had Dan and some of his clients out for a fun day of fishing off of Ft. Lauderdale.  It was still a bit rough but the fishing has been really good lately.

We again had some really nice dolphin, some kingfish and bonito.  We had a blue marlin come up for a few minutes but decided not to stay.

The sailfish action has been good also during this weather pattern

The winds are still blowing and the seas are still a bit rough, but the dolphin fishing here in Ft. Lauderdale has been really good lately.

Today we caught some really nice dolphin (one oer 20 lbs).  We also had some kingfish and bonitos.

We had two gentlemen that were part viking and the seas were no problem for them.

The weather today was not very good for being out on a boat.  The winds and the waves were quite strong. 

We had a chance for a day off - a great day for boat maintenance.

Sorry it has been so long since I have updated the blog - All should be back on track now.  Well, the South Florida dolphin fishing has really taken off.  Off of Ft. Lauderdale today, during both our morning and afternoon trip, we caught quite a few nice dolphin with some schoolies mixed in.  This morning, we also had a 200 lb blue marlin on for a little while, until he decided it was time to leave.

The kingfish have still been real active and we still have some nice sharks and sailfish still here.

The weather has been a bit windy and the seas are somewhat choppy, but the fishing has been red hot this last week here in Fort Lauderdale.
