 Well the fishing the last few days has been incredible. The dolphin have finally started to show up - we have been catching some nice schoolies.
Today we had Bill, Ken and his son, Nills out with us. We caught these two nice wahoo (28 and 32 lbs). We also had about a dozen schoolie dolphin, two barracudas, some blackfin tuna and a few king mackeral - all within a half day trip.
The fishing seems to have really picked up lately - the wahoos have been a nice bite and the dolphin are an added bonus.

Today we had Victor and his family from Chile out with us.
The guys stated they just wanted to catch alot of fish, so we headed out over the reef.
We were trolling between 100 and 190 ft and caught a limit of king mackeral (12). Most of them were over 10lbs with a few of them at 15-18lbs.
The guys also caught quite a few bonitos and a few barracudas.
All in all, it was an action packed morning.
The fishing has been real active this past week and there is no reason why it should not continue.
Now is a great time to get out there.

 Today we had the Eatty family from Ireland out with us. They stated that last year when they were here, they went drift fishing and the boys did not catch anything, so they wanted to give the sportfishing a try.
We started out trolling the reef and it didn't take too long for the bite. They boys ended up catching their limit of king mackeral, about 10 bonitos and a few barracudas. It was an action packed trip.

 Today we Carolyn and her sons, John and Rory from Boston out with us.
The fishing was pretty good today. The boys caught quite a few king mackeral and a few bonitos and a barracuda.
On the way in, John and Rory were already planning their next trip - John wants a sailfish - see you guys this winter.

 Today we had Mike and Sabrina from Louisana out with us.
The fishing started off a little slow, but then the bite turned on. We caught some king mackeral, bonitos and a few barracudas.
The fishing has been consistent as of late, with our summer pattern in full swing.

 Today we had Joe and his son Mike and their friends Justin and Claude, from Long Island.
We headed out over the reef and fishing started off a little slow, but when the bites started, they didn't stop.
We limited out on king mackeral within about an hour. All the kings ranged from about 8-10lbs, with one being over 20lbs. We caught about 5 small barracudas and one giant.
We also had quite a few bonitos - the 4 hours was full of action.
The action out here has been great lately. The rods have been staying bent most all of the trip.

 Today we had Joseph and Ava from Hungray out with us. The fishing was great this afternoon. We once again limited out on king mackeral and had quite a few bonitos and a few barracudas.
We have been having great success lately with quite a few fish being caught every trip. What a great way for the family to spend the day.

 Today we had Brian, Sabrina and their son Trevor out with us.
We headed out to the reef and caught quite a few king mackeral (the guys also missed quite a few) and we had some bonitos.
Brian stated that he wanted to try for a blue marlin, so we put out the lures and headed offshore - no luck though.
It was a great day and the fishing has been really active here lately.

 Today we had Andy, Bob, Dave and Dunst out with us.
The guys wanted to go out drink lots of beer and catch some fish - all was accomplished!
We caugth a limit of king mackeral, quite a few bonitos and a large barracuda and two buckets of empty beer cans!! What a great trip.

 This morning we had Mack and Doug from Oklahoma out with us.
The fishing was quite active this morning - we caught a limit of king mackeral and some bonitos.
With all the west wind we have been having lately, the dolphin have not been around, but there has been plenty of action with the kings, bonitos and barracudas.

This afternoon we had Alex and his son, Gideon and his mother out with us.
They are from Russia and had never been on the ocean or had ever been fishing.
We headed out over the reef and caught our limit of kings, a few bonitos and a large barracuda. Gideon was so excited - what a great experience.

 Today we had Dwayne, Allan, Paul, Simon and Dean from Jamacia out with us.
We had a great time today - we went trolling over the reef and caught king mackeral - the porpoises were around and made catching a real thrill - trying to get the kings in before the porpoises got them.
The fishing has been really good here lately and the weather has been great early in the day -

Today we had Mary Ann Martin (Roland Martin's ex-wife) and her daughter, and sister and family out with us.
Well, Mary Ann wanted to catch dolphin. So out we went, we trolled all over the ocean and managed to find one dolphin and one tuna.
We wanted to make sure she had plenty of fish for a great family dinner, so we headed out to the deep and caught a bunch of rosies. Well, after a meal of rosies - Mary Ann has given up on dolphin!!!
Fishing has been a wide variety these days - one great thing is if one thing isn't working - we can always find something else!!

 Today we had Mike and Gino from the Southeast Florida Chamber of Commerce out with us.
We headed out on the reef and the bite was really slow this afternoon, so we all decided to head out to the deep and do some drops for blackbelly rosies and golden tile.
This turned out to be the right move - we caught 2 really nice goldens and some rosies.
What a great time fishing with these guys.

Today we had Rick and his family from Colorado out with us. The fishing was a little slower this afternoon, but we did catch some bonitos and king mackeral. This weather patter should change by the first part of the week and the fishing action should pick back up.
